The International Longevity Centre (ILC-UK) on occasion of the conference "The Future of Ageing" held in London last Tuesday, opened its blog to external contributors.

This post tries to condense my ongoing research on how local high streets are supportive for older people's well-being. It also puts forward some recommendations for housing policies and urban design that can only be achieved by engaging older people themselves, harnessing their vitality, capabilities and experience to improve the place and their well-being at the same time.
